Through the Lens: Capturing the Spirit of Motorcycling with Arnau, Bridgestone Photographer
Behind every striking image from a Bridgestone motorcycle event lies the quiet precision and creative eye of photographers like Arnau. As one of the lead visual storytellers working with Ant Productions and Bridgestone, Arnau doesn’t just take photos – he captures the emotion, energy, and atmosphere of each event. We caught up with him to learn more about his process, the challenges he faces, and what continues to inspire his work in the world of motorcycles.
Can you briefly describe your role and responsibilities at these events?
“My role is pretty straightforward: I’m a photographer,” Arnau shared. “At events like these, I’m mainly responsible for the press shoot images together with my colleague Johnny. We shoot, edit, and prepare the press kits before the journalists arrive. Once the press days begin, we also shoot the ‘making-off’ content and provide individual images for the journalists each day.”
It’s a fast-paced workflow that continues throughout the event, ensuring that Bridgestone’s guests receive high-quality visuals in real time.

How did you get into this job and the motorcycle industry?
“It’s been around seven years now that I’ve been working with Ant Productions,” Arnau said. “My first job with them was actually for Bridgestone in Morocco. Since then, I’ve typically done one or two events a year for them.”
Although his early focus was on car photography, his career gradually shifted. “I started with rally cars and slowly transitioned into motorcycles as I gained more contacts in the industry. Even now, about 80% of my work is related to motorcycles and cars.”
How do you prepare for a big event like this?
Arnau takes a very methodical approach to preparation. “I have two dedicated backpacks, one for mountain shoots where it’s dusty, and one for more standard assignments. I’m very organized. I know exactly where every lens, battery, and charger is. That way, I’m ready to shoot in any condition, day or night.”

Does Bridgestone give you a detailed brief?
“One of the things I like about working with Bridgestone is that the brief is not super strict,” he said. “With Ant Productions, we know what they expect. Usually, it’s a mix of tyre details, action shots, landscapes, and lifestyle photography. It’s up to us to capture the full experience – not just the product.”
What’s the biggest challenge you face during these events?
“Sometimes the weather can be a challenge,” he admitted. “But mostly, it’s about balancing everything – making sure we capture all the shots we want, while leaving time for video, logistics, and other elements. You want to do everything perfectly, but there are time constraints. The key is making sure everyone is happy with the end result.”
Are there specific moments you always try to capture?
“Definitely the new tyre details, and also the atmosphere of the location,” Arnau said. “Here in Croatia, for example, I’ve been using wide-angle lenses to include the sea and the mountains in the frame. It’s important to show not just the motorcycle, but the experience and the setting.”

What gear do you rely on most during these events?
“I usually carry two main cameras: one optimized for action, and one more for lifestyle or environmental shots,” he explained. “I also carry a range of lenses: two long lenses, one wide-angle. That gives me flexibility whether I’m shooting dynamic motion or capturing scenic backdrops.”
How do you collaborate with the rest of the photo and video team?
“There’s a lot of communication,” Arnau noted. “Jonathan and I split tasks, he usually handles the tracking shots, and I focus more on statics and the environment. We coordinate with the video team, especially when we’re working in tight corners with journalists. We have to plan where everyone stands so we don’t end up in each other’s shots.”
What do you enjoy most about your work?
“There are two moments that really make me happy,” he said. “The first is when I imagine a shot in my head and I manage to capture it exactly the way I pictured it. The second is when something unplanned happens – perfect light, an unexpected moment – and you capture something great that you didn’t expect.”

What’s special about working with Bridgestone?
“For me, it’s that their events aren’t just about the tyre, it’s about the experience of riding, traveling, and being in beautiful places with motorcycles. That’s what I enjoy capturing,” Arnau said. “Also, my very first job with Ant Productions was a Bridgestone event in Morocco. It was 18 days long and really intense – but also unforgettable. It holds a special place in my heart.”
He added that another favorite was a photoshoot in Croatia that focused on oldtimer bikes. “Even though there were no journalists, it was an incredible shoot.”
Arnau’s work brings Bridgestone’s motorcycle world to life. Not just through technical excellence, but through storytelling. With each photo, he conveys the emotion of the ride, the beauty of the landscape, and the human moments that make every event unique.
